CO1: Familiarize basic concepts of research and able to identify appropriate research topics.
CO2: Learns various methods of data collection and databases and imparts skills to undertake
data-based research.
CO3: Provide analytical understanding of the basic framework of sampling designs and basic
awareness on hypothesis testing.
CO4: Familiarize with Statistical packages such as SPSS/EXCEL and have adequate knowledge
on measurement & scaling techniques as well as quantitative data analysis.
CO5: Acquire the ability to write scholarly research report and undertake a project in social
sciences.
