This course explains the origin of life, theories of evolution, and concepts of biochemical and molecular evolution. It explains population and evolutionary genetics to analyse the major evolutionary events.
From an ethological point of view, it describes the key behavioural terms, biological influences on behaviour, models of motivation, and learning processes. It explains the reproductive and social behaviours, biological rhythms and stress responses in animals.
