Department of Home Science and Centre for Research has taken effort to ensure that the Postgraduate Students in Resource Management and Interior Designing are potentially able to face the job demands and challenges in the broad spectrum of Resource Management. The Department has developed a well versed curriculum for its M.Sc. Resource Management and Interior Designing programme while maintaining all the basic and mandatory requirements of the University/Higher Education Council. Considering the multi- disciplinary nature of M.Sc. Resource Management and Interior Designing course and growing demand of the students from other disciplines to be enrolled, the department has decided to start a bridge course in ‘Fundamentals of Family Resource Management’ for students who join for the first semester in M.Sc Resource Management and Interior Designing programme to fulfil the eligibility criteria of the PG course. The course aims at equipping the students from other disciplines to bridge the knowledge gap in Resource Management and Interior Designing and facilitate them to be at par with their Home Science counterparts.
