Students will learn how to formulate research questions, select appropriate research designs, conduct data collection (e.g., surveys, interviews, content analysis), and apply basic data analysis techniques. Emphasis is placed on ethical considerations, scholarly writing, and the relevance of research in professional media settings such as journalism, advertising, film, and digital media.
