This course provides an overview of neo-Marxian theories in the 20th century, post-structuralism, postmodernism, and reflexive sociology. It touches upon the work of the Frankfurt School, Gramsci, Lukacs, Habermas, Althusser, Foucault, Giddens and Bourdieu.
