The paper helps the students understand the consequences of human actions on the web of life and thereby foster the right attitudes, values and sensitivity towards the environment. It aims to train the students to cater to the needs for ecological citizenship through the development of critical thinking for shaping strategies for environmental protection, environmental equity and sustainable development.
